There’s an island called Kaua‘i, known as the Garden Isle, where the maile and the Mokihana grow.
It’s where I met my sweetheart, it’s where we fell in love, in the Mokihana Mountains of Kaua‘i.
Mokihana Mountains you’re always on my mind
Mokihana Mountains where the cool streams wind.
It will always be the place where no troubles you will face in the Mokihana Mountains of Kaua‘i.
In the Mokihana Mountains we live now happily, where you will find peace and harmony, the fragrance of these mountains is one you won’t forget in the evening as we walk in the sunset.
