Tatsuki ‘Ed’ Someda
Tatsuki “Ed” Someda passed away on May 3, 2021, at home, at the age of 87. He was born on May 28, 1933, in Waimea. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and Government Property Administrator for PMRF, NASA and various stations on the Marshall Islands.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents Mataki and Mayo Someda.
Ed is survived by his wife Sri Someda, daughters Derlene Leiko Someda, Renee Someda, Natalie (Tracy) Payes, son Jared Someda, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, former wife Lourdes Sylvia Akana, sisters Jan Takamura and family, Elsie Uniaki and family, Sally Yamanoha and family.
A private service was held due to COVID-19.

Estelle Alohalinda Fukushima
Estelle Alohalinda Fukushima passed away on May 14, 2021, at Straub Hospital, at the age of 83. She was born on Oct. 28, 1937, at KVMH. She was a School Teacher with Koloa Elementary, Kalaheo Elementary and Kekaha Elementary Schools.
Estelle was preceded in death by her parents Isidro and Hermilina Bermodez.
Estelle is survived by her husband Ryoichi Fukushima of Kekaha, brothers Jaime Bermodez of O‘ahu, Justino Bermodez (Myong son) of Las Vegas, Nevada, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces nephews and cousins.
Service at Garden Island Mortuary is scheduled for June 5, 2021. Walk-through visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Celebration of Life to follow. Family suggests zloha attire and no flowers. Due to COVID-19, a mask & social distancing are required.
