LIHU‘E — In observance of Good Friday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Friday, April 2, along with the following sites.
The Kekaha Landfill, all refuse transfer stations, the Puhi Metals Recycling Center, the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Lihue, the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools, and all the neighborhood centers will be closed in observance of the holiday.
The HI5 redemption centers operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) in Kapa‘a and Kilauea will be open on Friday as well as on Saturday in Kekaha. They will be closed on Sunday in observance of the Easter holiday in Koloa.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, April 5.

You guys observe Good Friday? Odd. This is a Jewish celebration. Crucified Jesus hanging at the cross. I’m not sure what to make of it. But okay. Good Friday it is. I’ll give this to the Jews though. It is their celebration. And maybe some christians if they want to follow Jewish traditions. Other than this, I see no reason for a holiday. But thanks for the holiday.

the roads are in bad shape, kids are failing in school, landfill is full, businesses are forever closed, illegals are taking our jobs, homeless taking over the beaches and Public parks….taxes are going up to fund paid holidays;
