Congratulations to Bubbah’s Toy Box on the opening of their new (nearly double the size of the former location) shop and gaming cafe (yes, the little guys were doing their thing in the back of the shop) next to Spectrum at Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e, where there was a lot of Easter activity going on.

Bunny Hollow opened with the Easter Bunny (we won’t talk about the jelly beans) and no Mother Goose Saturday and Sunday to allow shoppers ample time to book appointments (walk-ins available on a space-available basis) for photos with Easter Bunny in a socially-distanced atmosphere (bring your own camera, and it’s six feet).
Macee Martinez was busy with the make-and-take spring crafts (she’s back again this Saturday), and don’t forget to register for the socially-distanced (age 3 and up must wear face masks) Easter egg hunt. Pre-registration is required for hunters ages 2 through 12 (kukuigrovecenter.com), and hunters will be presented with special identifying treasure buckets for their hunt at whatever time slot they signed up for. Hurry, because appointments are limited (they only have a designated number of goodie bags).
Pau Hana Market vendors at KGC Monday (and shoppers — mahalo for the purple Peeps — it’s not even Easter yet) were enjoying the sunshine where the chiyote was going off at Yasaka Farm (Aum Yasaka said she’s all thrilled that Ron Wiley got to interview her) and those scallions at Dang Farm are really looking good. Mayette Loseto said her citrus offering is limited to tangelo, and is that mango coming in at Risa Clemmons (she still has longan, too) table?
