Kalapaki Bay? It went from Lydgate across to the golf course then into Kalapaki? Kalapaki doesn’t have a river. It has a steam. Are they sure it didn’t enter Wailua Bay at the Wailua River mouth like all the other spills? No more building till the sewer facility is upgraded.
It must be very hot down in Kalapaki.
THIS MAYOR HAS HAD A YEAR OF LIGHT ISLAND TRAFFIC TO BOLSTER INFRASTRUCTURE
PLEASE MR MAYOR PLEASE JIF YOU WANT FREE MONEY JUST GO ON UNEMPLOYMENT YOU CAN DO THAT!
PLEASE LET SOME COMPETENT PERSON TAKE OVER
Nawiliwili has its own sewage treatment plant, as does Lydgate. It failed around 5 years ago last time. Rain affects electrical system of the plant.
You think any infrastructure project is just planned and carried out in a few months?
What makes you think they know about infrastructure? Why do you think they just let things go by, until in need? The engineers or electricians have to have a guaranteed payment plan first to work on it. Otherwise, they would just go ahead and make modifications. And save themselves trouble. All this is, is guaranteeing money in the bank.
How does excess rain cause a spill? Aren’t we all aware rainy seasons happen on island? Isn’t treatment happening inside large metal tanks? This article needs some details on how this is happening and what the plan is to prevent it from happening in the future. We already have too many open cesspools filling our oceans with feces and we can’t have a treatment plant contribute to this disgusting problem because of rain.
