LIHU‘E — COVID-19 vaccine appointments for kupuna aged 75 or older are currently available at a number of locations on Kaua‘i, for first and second doses.
Earlier this year, some locations were fully booked or did not have vaccines available. Now appointments are available to be booked. Only residents 75 or older are eligible at this time.
To sign up at one of these locations, visit the websites:

Kupuna 75 and older who are established patients at Ho‘ola Lahui can also schedule vaccine appointments at their locations.
Those needing assistance with the online-appointment systems should ask friends or family members to help. If not, call the county Agency on Elderly Affairs at 241-4470 and they can help schedule appointments. They cannot help if no appointments are available or if people are not yet eligible.
As of Feb. 19, some 21,000 doses of vaccine have been administered on Kaua‘i.
The state Department of Health has announced intentions to expand eligibility to residents age 70 and older next month.
