‘ANINI — The county Department of Water announced a water-service shutdown on ‘Anini Road is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather-permitting.
The shutdown is necessary in order to conduct water-line improvements to the main line on the road.
Customers should prepare for the service shutdown by taking the following steps:
• Store enough water to meet needs until water service can be restored;
• Notify neighbors, tenants, families and friends of the shutdown;
• Monitor water-service announcements at facebook.com/KauaiDOW.
Those with faulty water heaters should ensure heaters do not empty.
