LIHU‘E — The Xi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society has established the Delta Kappa Gamma-Xi Chapter Scholarship, to award one, $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from a high school on Kaua‘i who has an interest in pursuing a teaching career, or a student already enrolled in an accredited teaching program on Kaua‘i.
LIHU‘E — The Xi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society has established the Delta Kappa Gamma-Xi Chapter Scholarship, to award one, $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from a high school on Kaua‘i who has an interest in pursuing a teaching career, or a student already enrolled in an accredited teaching program on Kaua‘i.
This scholarship will be awarded in recognition of a student’s academic achievement, active participation in extracurricular activities and demonstration of leadership qualities. The scholarship is for one year and may not be renewed. It may be used at any two- or four-year accredited institution of higher learning.
Scholarship applications are available through the counseling departments of Island School, Kaua‘i High, Kapa‘a High, Waimea High and the financial aid office of Kaua‘i Community College. For more eligibility information and the downloadable application form, go to xichapter-hi.weebly.com.
