Colin Wilson, beekeeper, was thrilled to have gotten his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and Laurie Ho of the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau (she was raiding the roast pork — lechon style! — at the Family Cafe tent) said they’re scheduled to get theirs in the coming days. Colin even has an appointment for his second dose.
Bill Spitz was like Melissa McFerrin-Warrack, who got pizza for dinner from Jackie and Randy Lee of the Carabella Wood Fired Pizza wagon that brought pizza to the mall. The Carabella wagon used to be a staple at the market when it used to be held at Kaua‘i Community College (yep, they’re still closed), and Adam Coyaso discovered a new Mini Me who was out walking to coincide with the market opening.
