Rudy Campos
Rudy Campos of Simi Valley, California, formerly from Makaweli, died on Nov. 29, 2020, at age 74. He was born on Aug. 4, 1946, at Waimea Hospital. He was a retired mechanic leadman from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
He was preceded in death by parents Francisco Sr. and Clarita Campos, and sister Marcelia “Marcy” Mendonca.
He is survived by wife Katherine Harada Campos of Simi Valley, sister, Fely (Daryll) Dement of Kaua‘i, brother Francisco Campos Jr. of Kaua‘i, sons Rudy Jr. and Brandon (Monique Perriera) Campos of Simi Valley, daughters Michele “Maile” (Jeff Gonzales) Ae of Las Vegas, Camille (Trevor) Koholua Lau of O‘ahu and Erin Campos of Simi Valley, 10 grandchildren, two fur grandbabies, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, no services will be held at this time.
Guy Gillette
Guy Gillette, 83, of Kapa‘a, passed away at his home on Dec. 1, 2020. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 28, 1937, and is retired from Rovens and Tanaka Construction.
He was preceded in death by parents Rawley and Marjorie Gillette, and sister Kathy.
He is survived by wife Linda Gillette, daughters Karri Gillette of California, Gia Correa, Michelle and Renee, sons Mark, David and William, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held by the family.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
