Norma Misako Shiraki
Norma Misako Shiraki, 86, of Lihu‘e, passed away at her home on Dec. 6, 2020. She was born in Kealia, on Aug. 27, 1934, and she was a school teacher for Longfellow Elementary in Compton, California.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Kenichi and Miyako Shiraki and her brother Albert Shiraki.
Norma is survived by her brother Kenneth Shiraki and numerous cousins
Private graveside services will be held at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Yoneko Yamamoto
Yoneko Yamamoto, 101, of Kapaa passed away in Lihue on December 6, 2020. She was born in Makaweli, Kauai on July 27, 1919.
Yoneko was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Yamamoto, her parents, three brothers, and two sisters
Yoneko is survived by her daughter, Merle (Franklin) Oaski, three grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Private burial services will be held at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
