KOLOA – The county Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC announced that sections of Koloa Road and Piko Road are scheduled for lane closures from Monday through Friday, Dec. 7 to 11.
KOLOA – The county Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC announced that sections of Koloa Road and Piko Road are scheduled for lane closures from Monday through Friday, Dec. 7 to 11.
The following work is scheduled:
• From Dec. 7 to Dec. 11, one or more sections of Koloa Road between ‘Oma‘o Road and Lauoho Road will be under single-lane closures for shoulder construction and paving. The hours of operation for the closures will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
• On Dec. 7, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Piko Road will be closed at the Koloa Road intersection for paving. Motorists are advised to use Kaumuali‘i Highway to access Piko Road;
• On Dec. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the westbound lane of Koloa Road will be closed between Lauoho Road and Kaumuali‘i Highway for paving. Motorists are advised to use Piko Road as a detour from Koloa Road to Kaumuali‘i Highway;
• On Dec. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the eastbound lane of Koloa Road will be closed between Lauoho Road and Kaumuali‘i Highway for paving. Motorists are advised to use Piko Road as a detour from Kaumuali‘i Highway to Koloa Road.
During these closures, eastbound motorists from the Westside, Kalaheo or Lawa‘i are advised to take Kaumuali‘i Highway to Maluhia Road to access Koloa and Po‘ipu. Dates and times are subject to change depending on weather and other factors.
