WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawai‘i) Friday announced that the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa will receive $958,613 from the National Institutes of Health to increase the reach, access and uptake of COVID-19 testing among Pacific Islander communities in Hawai‘i and Guam.

This grant will fund the Puipuia le Ola project, which improves testing outreach to Pacific Islanders through culturally- and linguistically-appropriate community engagement.
“We need to do more to fight outbreaks in Pacific Islander communities,” said Schatz.
”By ramping up testing and supporting the targeted outreach efforts of local agencies on the ground, we can help stop the spread of the virus,” said Schatz, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. “There’s still more work to do, but this federal grant is a good start.”
According to the state Department of Health, Pacific Islanders account for 28% of COVID-19 infections, despite being just 4% of the state’s population. Public-health experts agree that increasing testing will help stop community spread of the virus, which will lead to fewer infections and deaths.
The Puipuia le Ola project is a partnership between UH Manoa, University of Guam, Kalihi-Palama Health Center, the Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander COVID-19 Response, Recovery, Resilience Team, Hawai‘i Public Housing Authority, Hawai‘i Affordable Housing, Inc., American Samoa government, and multiple community-based organizations.
Since the start of the pandemic, Hawai‘i has received tens of millions in federal funding for coronavirus testing and other public-health strategies to help stop the spread.
Tens of millions spent in Hawaii on testing and things fo stop the spread of covid-19 virus. Apparently all that testing and other measures like masks, 6’ distancing, and washing your hands, and all the doctors, hospitals, prescription drugs, off the shelf medications, etc. haven’t done a darn thing to help us with this pandemic.
All those scientists, all those Fauci types, and no one but the commenters here in the newspapers ever explained how the immune system works. Why wouldn’t the politicians, and medical people want to educate us, it can be to keep us in the dark, would it?
Instead of testing to stop the spread, which is after the fact Instead of testing to stop the spread, which is after the fact thinking because the virus vicm if found positive already has the virus.
But wonderfully and naturally after a few weeks the positive person, whether tested or not, their own immune system has produced enough antibodies to deactivate all the virus in their body, not only making them immune, to be able to deactivate any new covid19 virus trying to enter their own body, but also because they no longer have any active covid19 virus left in their body, they are also Non-Contagious, that is unable to spread covid virus to others, and they also become a member of Herd Immunity.
Instead of spending a million, or prior tens of millions on testing, better to spend $$$ on diet and lifestyle of target groups like Pacific Islanders.
Better yet, take visual survey of the diet of which cultures may be predominant eating Fast food, junk food, and sugared snack food, and food loaded with toxic food additives snd Agriculture poisons, as well as prescription drugs and off the shelf medications. These Non-Nutritious foods and chemicals in, and on food and the toxic medicines burden the immune system, rendering the immune systems less capable of protecting people’s bodies from the virus, any disease virus or bacteria.
Better to change diet and lifestyle of any targeted culture or any individual for that matter, because the food and food additives mentioned above burden the immune system, rendering the body less capable, and it needs to be repeated, to being downright incapable of defending oneself from the covid19 vitus and any other disease causing virus or bacteria.

Maker of COVID Tests Says Pandemic is Biggest Hoax Ever Perpetrated
Top pathologist Dr. Roger Hodkinson told Canadian government officials in Alberta during a phone conference that the coronavirus pandemic is “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public.” Hodkinson, who is the CEO of a biotech company that makes COVID tests, says “There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians.” We are seeing “politics playing medicine, and that’s a very dangerous game.”
Positive test results do not mean a clinical infection, he says. All testing should stop because the false numbers they produce are “driving public hysteria.” Hodkinson says the risk of death for people under the age of 65 is “one in three-hundred thousand” and it is “outrageous” to shut down society for what is merely “just another bad flu.”
