Mahalo, Chantal Zarbaugh, for that fancy Kaua‘i Lifeguard Association coffee cup. It comes right when someone said I needed a new one, and the TGI Dennis cap from Janice Bond came in handy on hallow’s eve for Sabrina Bodon.

Chantal and Janice were both helping at The Shops at Kukui‘ula South Shore food distribution along with Cyndi Ayonon, who was baby-sitting the Zonta Spirit sign because Wynde Thomas couldn’t make it. According to Edie Ignacio, Wynde passed the Spirit Award on to Regina Carvalho during a Halloween fellowship gathering.
Tiffany Sagucio should’ve waited until the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort &Spa keiki Halloween drive-thru trick-or-treating event where she could see the real (Princess) Anna (no, not from the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce, but from the Disney “Frozen” movies) in action along with the crew from The Ladder to Nowhere. Tiffany was helping at the Kokua No Ka ‘Ohana food distribution at St. Raphael Church (mahalo for the Halloween bag, Tina Brun), where she said her favorite princess is Mulan because she is a warrior.
Tiffany also made it to Freaky Friday (even Santa — he was incognito — came to check out how Christmas is going to go with all the COVID-19 safety measures in place) at Kukui Grove Center, where the zombies from the Aloha Dance Studio made their only appearance this year. Good job with making the lights in the food court area work, Josh Pajela.
