Going to the mainland for the first time to record at Gold Star Records in Hollywood, I had the privilege to stay with Bill and Phyllis Packard from Chester Avenue in Pasadena, California.
They drove me to Hollywood every day to record. Upon leaving, I wrote this song for their little girl named Jennifer in gratitude for helping me.
Jennifer
Jennifer, Jennifer, how I love you so
How the blue blue skies reflect your smiling eyes, my lovely Jennifer.
Hold my hand Jennifer, come with me through life and see we will walk thru trees of Gold, our hearts will be and endless soul.
How much would I love you, all words cannot say. I’ll cherish you always through all of my days.
So I’ll sing this song to you, hope that you will love me too, Jennifer, Jennifer, I love you.
