Jessica Coipel (she’s visiting from California with mom Miriam and siblings Jazmine and Zachary Manougian) said the butterbeer is good and is planning on stopping by for some servings following their stop at the Spouting Horn Park (they were on the South Shore tour from their Princeville accommodations).

Phil, er, Santa in Paradise, was casting his mail-in ballot at the Kalaheo fire station, and because he’s Santa, watched as a team from the Office of the County Clerk Elections Division rolled in to empty the day’s collection. The Voter Service Center opened Tuesday, Oct. 20, where voters can register and vote in person or drop off their completed ballots in the Pi‘ikoi Building. Check out the Nirmana project that started as early as Sunday night with Seth Womble (yes, he sparked the Holua mural, too) on several buildings around Lihu‘e, including WB’s Grill and the apartment building adjacent to that one on ‘Umi Street just off Rice Street. Can always have a Rainbeau Jo’s.
Santa said he hopes everyone did their census because that’s how he knows how many goodies to bring to his Hawai‘i leg. Nope, no time for disc golf (Kukuiolono Golf Course is still doing it on Thursday and Sunday afternoons) on the Christmas run. Have you seen the sneak peek for Black Friday?
