LIHUE — Regarding the state’s Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program, Aloha United Way has reached processing capacity and will not be able to accept new applications due to the exceptionally high volume of applications received.
Applicants who have already submitted applications through Aloha United Way or Kaua‘i Government Employees Federal Credit Union will have their submittals processed in the order received.
To help process applications in a timely manner, grantors are asking applicants and landlords to quickly respond to calls and/or emails requesting futher information.
