LIHU‘E – The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, Life’s Choices Kaua‘i Program is offering grants-in-aid for community groups and nonprofit organizations.
These grants will support positive youth development and family strengthening projects, programs and activities for this fiscal year.
“Addiction devastates families and is a major health crisis in America,” stated Prosecuting Attorney Justin F. Kollar. “It costs our nation more than $500 billion a year in social clean-up costs and causes unimaginable human suffering. Yet most addiction begins in adolescence where it is more-readily preventable.”
Each applicant will be able to apply for up to $2,500 in grant funds. Eligibility requirements are listed on the grant application. There is no deadline to apply; however, grants will be given on a first-come first-serve basis.
To apply, visit the Life’s Choices Kaua‘i website, https://www.kauai.gov/LifesChoicesKauai/Resources-and-Info, and click on the link under “Grant Application.”
