WAIMEA — County of Kaua‘i officials in partnership with Ishihara Market and Intellectual Technology Inc. launched the island’s third self-service kiosk for motor-vehicle registrations, at Ishihara Market in Waimea.
This self-service kiosk allows customers to pay for their motor-vehicle registrations via a touchscreen by entering their license-plate number or scanning the bar code of their motor-vehicle-renewal form.
Customers may only use debit or credit cards for transactions. Fees beyond the registration fee are currently being waived by the county. Once a transaction is made, the kiosk will print out the vehicle registration and license-plate tab instantly.
Motor-vehicle registrations may also be paid for online at mvr.ehawaii.gov/renewals/kauai.
