Sylvia ‘Momi’ Fong Cole

Sylvia “Momi” Fong Cole, 84, of Anahola, passed away on Aug 16, 2020 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 22, 1936, and worked as a pre-school teacher at Kapa‘a Head Start.
Syliva was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Bautista, step father Felipe C. Bautista Sr., brother Felipe C. Bautista Jr.. husbands Stanley A. Cole and Samuel K. Peahu Jr. and step son, Severo (Shirley) Cole.
Syliva’s memory will live on in those she is survived by, children Twila (Charles) Dependahl, Twayne K. (Sherri) Cole Sr., Twanda Cole, Twyus Peahu, step-children Cyrila (James) Pycha, Anthony
(Trudy) Cole, Marilyn (Mark) Mohler, David (Debbie) Cole, Samuel K. Peahu III, David Peahu, Anna Peahu, over 60 grandchildren/great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
A private family Celebration of Life was held on Aug. 28, 2020, to spread her ashes in Anahola where she lived most of her life.
