LIHU‘E — Effective Wednesday, Sept. 16, The Kaua‘i Bus drivers will no longer be providing face coverings to passengers, according to a county press release.
“As a reminder, for everyone’s health and safety, The Kaua‘i Bus is for essential trips only, and users are required to use face coverings on the bus and while waiting near others at bus stops,” said Mayor Derek Kawakami.
While on The Kaua‘I Bus, passengers are to observe COVID-19 safety protocols.
