LIHU‘E — The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the leeward portions of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau, in effect today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The warning may be extended, dropped or modified as conditions develop.
LIHU‘E — The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the leeward portions of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau, in effect today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The warning may be extended, dropped or modified as conditions develop.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. A Red Flag Warning does not predict new fire starts.

Can you tell us what towns are included in “Leeward Kauai”. Does that include Poipu and Koloa? People don’t use that term too much for Kauai.
