Feliciano ‘Pelane’ Fernandez
Feliciano “Pelane” Fernandez passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 81, in Hanapepe. He was born on Oct. 1, 1938, in Waimea. He was a U.S. Army veteran and building inspector for the County of Kaua‘i for 36 years.
He was preceded in death by parents Casiano and Patricia Fernandez, brothers Elpedio Fernandez, Andres Fernandez and Lorito Toni, sister Leonida Fujimura, grandchild Shane Iniki Fernandez, and great-grandchild Paulo Fernandez Lacanlale.
He is survived by wife Estrelita Fernandez, sons Sheldon (Karrianne Esperanza) Fernandez of Saipan, Shane (Casidee) Fernandez of Kekaha and Ross (Faye) Fernandez of Kekaha, daughters Eula Ann (Moses) Miyashiro of Anahola, Annette (Robert) Fernandez-Ventura of Kalaheo, Patricia (David Duenas) Fernandez of Saipan, 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sister Clarita Ide of Kane‘ohe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A drive-thru visitation at Garden Island Mortuary is Friday, Aug. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Gladys Shizue Horner
Gladys Shizue Horner passed away on Aug. 6, 2020, at the age of 91, at Wilcox Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 24, 1928, in Honolulu. She was in retail sales.
She was preceded in death by husband Edward Horner Sr. and son Edward Horner Jr.
She is survived by sons Darrell (Nadine) Horner of Lihu‘e, Clayton (Myra) Horner of Kalaheo, daughter Ann (Tony Bronco) Horner of Kapa‘a, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A walk-thru visitation will take place at Garden Island Mortuary on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The family suggests aloha attire. Social distancing and masks are required.

Agripina Bagalayos Collado
Agripina Bagalayos Collado passed away on Aug. 11, 2020, at the age of 96, at home. She was born on June 23, 1924, in Santa Ignacia, Tarlac, Philippines. She was a retired housekeeper at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by parents Marcelino Bagalayos and Dionisia Noveloso Bagalayos, husband Nemecio Collado, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by sons Jerry Collado of Kalaheo, Edgar (Jennelyn) Collado of Kalaheo, Gregory Collado of ‘Ele‘ele, daughter Adriane (Milton) Ceria of Koloa, grandchildren Milissa Ceria, Mason (Kathryn) Ceria, Sheldon Ceria, Aleiyah Collado, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
