Ciriaco Ortal
Ciriaco Ortal, 93, passed away on July 9, 2020, at Wilcox Hospital in Lihue. He was born June 17, 1927, in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was a hardworking man and a loving father and husband.
Ciriaco was preceded in death by his parents Florencio and Eugenia Ortal, three sisters and one brother.
Ciriaco is survived by his wife Teodocia Ortal, children Lilia (Peter) Nonales, Henry (Norma) Ortal, Efren (Josie) Ortal, Romeo Ortal, Edgar (Evelyn) Ortal, Noel (Evelyn) Ortal, Juliet (Billy) Pascual, brother Engineer Simeon (Dolores) Ortal, 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of His Life will be held Friday, Aug, 14, 2020, at New Hope Kilauea, with visitation starting at 9 a.m. and his burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Kilauea Japanese Cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Teofila Espero Cabreros
Teofila Espero Cabreros passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 78, at Garden Isle Healthcare, Lihue. She was born on Aug. 9, 1941, in Pangasinan, Philippines. She was a Bird Watcher with Global Ag Services, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her husband Macario Cabreros, Sr.
She is survived by her sons Macario Cabreros, Jr. of the Philippines, Conrado Cabreros of the Philippines, Alexander Cabreros of the Philippines, Arnold Cabreros of the Philippines, Jovito Cabreros of the Philippines, daughters Remedios C. Patricio of the Philippines, Concepcion C. Matabang of the Philippines, Nilda C. Marugame (Dean) of Lihue, numerous grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Estelato E. Reponte
Estelato E. Reponte, age 97, of Kekaha, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Estelato was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Cebu, Philippines. He was a pipe fitter for Amfac, Kekaha Sugar Company and also served in United States Army
Estelato is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Francisca Reponte, brother Clemente Reponte.
He is survived by his wife Zosima Reponte, daughter Estella (David) Miyasato, sons Romeo (Christy) Reponte, Edgar (Maria) Reponte and 5 grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will take place at 9:30 a.m. and service at 10 a.m. The burial will be private. Seating is limited for social distancing. Facial covering are required. Show your aloha by social distancing.

Bernaldo Daligcon
Bernaldo Daligcon, 89, of Pakala, passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on Aug. 2, 2020. He was born in Ewa, Oahu on April 19, 1931, he served in the Korean War and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Gay & Robinson’s Plantation.
He is preceded in death his parents Hermenigildo and Semiona Reyes Daligcon, brothers Bonifacio “Sid”, William and Maxie Daligcon, sisters Seledonia Daligcon Asuncion and Nora Daligcon.
Bernaldo is survived by his brothers Ernie (Paula) Daligcon of Honolulu, Jim (Barbara) Daligcon of Seattle, Washington, Ronald (Lona) Daligcon of Seattle, Washington, Rod (Doris) Daligcon of Lihue, sisters Celestina “Manang” Correa of Sonoma, California, Addie Marticio of Seattle, Washington, Lourdes (Bill) Cox of Ottawa, Canada, numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
