Feliciano ‘Pelane’ Fernandez
Feliciano “Pelane” Fernandez passed away on June 29 2020, at the age of 81, in Hanapepe. He was born on Oct. 1, 1938, in Waimea. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and building inspector for the County of Kaua‘i for 36 years.
Feliciano was preceded in death by parents Casiano and Patricia Fernandez, brothers Elpedio Fernandez, Andres Fernandez, Lorito Toni, sister Leonida Fujimura, grandchild Shane Iniki Fernandez, great-grandchild Paulo Fernandez Lacanlale.
Feliciano is survived by wife Estralita Fernandez, sons Sheldon Fernandez (Karrianne Esperanza) of Saipan, Shane Fernandez (Casidee) of Kekaha, Ross Fernandez (Faye) of Kekaha, daughters Eula Ann Miyashiro (Moses) of Anahola, Annette Fernandez-Ventura (Robert) of Kalaheo, Patricia Fernandez (David Duenas) of Saipan, 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sister Carlita Ide of Kaneohe, numerous nieces and nephews.
Drive through visitation will be held at Garden Island Mortuary on Aug. 21, 2020, from 1 to 3 p.m.
