Dr. Thomas Sowell has produced some excellent videos about the history of slavery and racism, available on YouTube. It is heartbreaking to watch, but it is important to learn about our history. It is also appropriate to learn from a brilliant Black scholar like Dr. Sowell.

Slavery means that laborers must labor but cannot enjoy the fruits of their labor. This is the same situation that Marxism provides. Marxism promises some idea of equality to the naïve, but it produces another form of slavery. As we saw in the USSR, the small group of Communist Party Members became the masters. Everyone else became slaves.
In a surfaced video, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Patrisse Cullors said that she and her fellow organizers are “trained Marxists.” The ironic result is that the BLM movement is dedicated to bringing back a form of slavery in America. As the leaders, they probably figure they will the masters this time around.
The recent BLM “CHOP” anarchy in Seattle led to many shootings and the murders of two black teenagers. Since it is obvious that anarchy leads to violence, the blood of those two teenagers is on the hands of Mayor Jenny Durkan and Gov. Jay Inslee, who both willingly allowed the anarchy to continue.
The BLM leaders also have blood on their hands for hundreds of additional murders around the country, as police have been pushed back or pulled back. Besides destroying businesses in black neighborhoods, the main result of the BLM movement has been Black Lives Murdered.
Sowell makes is clear that Marxism is a problem, not a solution. A great way to lift Black neighborhoods is to expand charter schools. Sowell’s new book about charter schools cites vast amounts of new data that make an overwhelming case for the benefits of charter schools.
