LIHU‘E — The Keonimana Gents are undefeated in Kaua‘i Senior Softball League play following its 9-7 victory over the Rookies Saturday at the Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex in Kapa‘a.
With the win, the Gents are the only team to hold an undefeated record after giving the Rookies its first loss of the 2020 season.
This was the first game contested by the league following a period of park closures from the health and safety concerns centering around the COVID-19 pandemic.
League play continues Saturday with games slated at the Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex and Puhi Park. The first pitches go off starting at 9 a.m. at both sites.
