Felix Santiago Garo
Felix Santiago Garo of Lihu‘e passed away on April 17, 2020, at Wilcox Medical Center at the age of 95. He was born on Oct. 19, 1924, in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was a retired custodian for Kapa‘a School and a cook at McDonald]s.
He was preceded in death by parents Damaso and Sinforosa Garo, wife Estrella Garo, sisters Ramona Simpliciano and Saturnina Garo, and daughter Lolita Ribac.
He is survived by sons Heneloy (Charito) Garo and Faustino (Josephine) Garo, daughters Remedios “Remy” (Orlando) Dela Cruz, Josephine Sarandi and Rosebell Sagabaen, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be private.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
