LIHU‘E — May 22 is the deadline for scholarship applicants to get forms submitted to the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i Foundation.
Application forms are available at the Zonta Club website at www.zonta-kauai.org/scholarships.html.
This year, the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i, an international service organization of executives in business and professions, has enhanced its scholarship program for high school women, Kaua‘i Community College scholarship, and for women who are re-entering the workforce.
Additionally, the William and Marge Akana Scholarship will present $1,000 for an applicant pursuing a degree in Elementary Education as a teacher.
Women returning to the workforce at the Kaua‘i Community College will be considered for a $1,000 scholarship for the purpose of continuing her education.
