Laurence ‘Larry’ Ryan
Laurence “Larry” Ryan of Kaua‘i and Palatine, Illinois, passed away on March 27, 2020, while in hospice, at the age of 80. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois, to the late Juanita and Walter Ryan.
He was also preceded in death by twin sister Judy Pitts.
He is survived by wife Mary Jane (Pettibone), whom he was married to for nearly 19 years, sister Jeanne, sons Jim (Elena), Shiva and William (Divia), nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many cousins, and good friends Eleanor and Cynthia.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bruce Wayne Cosier
Bruce Wayne Cosier passed away at his residence on April 3, 2020, at the age of 69. He was born on Oct. 11. 1950, in Honolulu.
He was preceded in death by son Jamieson “Jay” Cosier, mother Rose Hanawahine Cosier, three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by wife Lori Cosier of Kalaheo, daughters Ann (Toledo) Cosier of Kea‘au, Hawai‘i Island, Bricille (Horace) Cosier Wallace of Lihu‘e, sons-in-law Alika (Lacey) Toledo of Hilo and Marquis Dawkins of Lihu‘e, eight grandchildren, brothers David “Butch” (Cee) Cosier of Kailua, O‘ahu, Gordon “Bobo” (April) Cosier of Oregon and Eric (Carole) Cosier of Waimanalo, O‘ahu, sisters Rosemary Tamashiro of Kailua, O‘ahu and Linda (Bill) Williams of North Carolina, mother-in-law J. Hazel Soto of Kalaheo, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at a later date.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
