Kudos to Mike Pemberton and Kaua‘i Fantasy Shirts on upcycling their t-shirts into fabric face masks (mahalo - scored one with The Kaua‘i Beer Co. showing on part of the mask!). Jim Gueber of the Kaua‘i Beer Company said the robotics kids (COVID-19 cheated them out of the state finals) have been busy working on PPE for the Hawai‘i Pacific Health with Rich O’Reily and Kaua‘i Makerspace like Elena Kealoha.

Cynthia Sone of Sone’s Deli &Catering was getting chicken skin talking about Amalya Sales (she’s not just a Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation all star, but also a really good worker, Cynthia said) teaming up with some of the other girls basketball players to play on the Big Island. That, too, became a victim of COVID-19. So, where is the menu, Vyann Layaoen?
Now, how do we get in all those steps? Surfing is okay, and so is golf and tennis, or walking (and running). How about pickleball at Kalena Park? Me thinks it’s social distance compliant…just gotta figure out how to wait on-deck for the next round…and those fabric face masks make breathing difficult…any ideas, Bev Brody?
