Is it 100 people? Or 50 people? How about 10 people? Five people? No, some families are bigger than five people…too many social distancing things to worry about surrounding COVID-19. That said, no, there wont be any reception for the Kauai Society of Artists during their Spring Show that is currently showing at the KSA gallery at the Kukui Grove Center (Melissa McFerrin-Warrack said the regular events like the Monday Market, Toddler Tuesdays, and more are no-more until further notice). Instead, people can vote for Viewers Choice through the KSA website after viewing the show (theres no charge for that) that runs through March 27.

That said, no, there won’t be any reception for the Kaua‘i Society of Artists during their Spring Show that is currently showing at the KSA gallery at the Kukui Grove Center (Melissa McFerrin-Warrack said the regular events like the Monday Market, Toddler Tuesdays, and more are no-more until further notice). Artist Helen Turner (she’s from the Westside in the Masaki Building) was gallery-sitting (is it too late for Victoria Aiu to get in Nirmana, Seth Womble?) and got to see the Soul Fire Productions’ St. Patrick’s Day princesses before the plug got pulled on the green day…Chef Scooby Coloma from Rob’s Good Times Grill (check out that “drive-up, not drive-through” curbside pickup they started, Monday in response to social distancing guidelines)…see? You never know what kind of information you can find by ride-sharing…
Kimo Perry of the Royal Order of Kamehameha, Chapter No. 3 Kaumuali‘i said the Saturday tribute to Prince Jonah Kuhio is canceled for this year…what? No Warren Perry, or Tom Shigemoto? And there is no Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation softball, baseball, or tennis…this might be a good time to self isolate.
