Gwendolyn Marie ‘Gwen’ Carveiro
Gwendolyn Marie “Gwen” Carveiro of Kalaheo passed away at Garden Island Health Care &Rehabilitation in Lihu‘e on Feb. 27, 2020, at the age of 81. She worked for Wilcox Memorial Hospital and Hopaco (Honolulu Paper Company) and retired in 1993.
She was preceded in death by parents John V. Medeiros Sr. and Mary Medeiros, husband Lawrence Carveiro and brother Leonard Medeiros.
She is survived by daughters Lawrie (Ron) Ellamar, Debby (Leroy) Gatioan and Lisa (Marvin) Fernandez, brother John V. (Shirley) Medeiros, Jr., sisters Carol (Tom) DePonte and Kathleen (George) Langtad, hanai sisters Wilma Dela Cruz and Wanda (Bondie) Brooksher, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life is Saturday, April 25, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, with visitation at 8:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m.

Nelia Galicinao Erorita
Nelia Galicinao Erorita of Hanama‘ulu passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on March 5, 2020, at the age of 66.
She was employed at Burger King restaurant.
She was preceded in death by father Pedro Galicinao, and son Felijar Erorita.
She is survived by mother Carlina Galicinao, husband Felix Erorita Sr., son, Felix (Marygene) Erorita Jr., Neleo (Shallee) Erorita and Richjoy (Monica) Erorita, daughter Rose (Eddie) Motilla, numerous siblings from the Phillipines, and 11 grandchildren.
Family may visit with the family on Friday, March 27, at Aloha Assembly of God Church in Lihu‘e, with visitation at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park in Lihu‘e.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
