LIHUE Nissan North America continues to offer Kauai Island Utility Cooperative members access to rebates off the manufacturers suggested retail price on the all-electric 2019 and 2020 Nissan LEAF sedan and the 2019 and 2020 Nissan LEAF-Plus through Tuesday, March 31.
LIHU‘E — Nissan North America continues to offer Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative members access to rebates off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price on the all-electric 2019 and 2020 Nissan LEAF sedan and the 2019 and 2020 Nissan LEAF-Plus through Tuesday, March 31.
KIUC members who buy a 2019 LEAF can receive a $3,500 rebate off MSRP. The rebate for the 2019 LEAF-Plus is $2,500. The rebate on the 2020 LEAF is $3,000 off MSRP, while the rebate for the 2020 LEAF-Plus is $2,000. Combined with $7,500 in federal tax incentives, KIUC members could save from $9,500 to $11,000, depending on the model they choose.
In order to receive the rebate, KIUC members must present proof of residency, their electric bill and the Nissan flyer, which is available for download and printing from the KIUC website, www.kiuc.coop, on the “Community” page under the “EV Resources” tab.
