KAPA‘A — Princess Day for girls between 3 and 13 years old is coming up Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Salon J in Kapa‘a.
Reservations are strongly encouraged to save a space for princesses who will be treated to hair, nails and make-up, and have an option to be photographed in the make over. Princess goodie bags go home with the freshly-done princesses when they leave. Final appointments are at 4:30 p.m.
There is a $50 fee for the princess makeover, with all proceeds donated by Salon J to the YWCA of Kaua‘i, this year’s recipient nonprofit.
Princesses who must be accompanied by adults are encouraged to wear “princess attire,” and must bring their own clean hair brushes and clean hair and hands ready for polish.
Salon J encourages carpooling, and princesses need to have appointments with prepayments.
