“People must be spring cleaning,” Lam said. “There are quite a number of new things for this sale.”
The Friends of the Lihu‘e Public Library will be hosting its spring used book sale today and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the library.
Shoppers are able to select from a wide variety of children’s books, fiction, non-fiction in both hard cover and paperbacks, CDs, DVDs, and even vinyl record albums.
“We still have some remaining from the previous sale, where there was a line of people waiting when we opened the doors,” said Dorene Sautner of the Friends of the Lihu‘e Public Library. “And, we have assortments of cookbooks, coffee table books and a lot more.”
Proceeds from the used book sale go toward supporting programs and services at the library.
