The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) will be servicing thrift stores across the island on Feb. 27.
David Chung of the ARC will be traveling around the island, gathering thrift store unsaleable items that would otherwise be sent to the landfill.
The ARC will also be servicing the public on Friday, Feb. 28, at the Kaua‘i Resource Center located at 3460 Ahukini Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents, businesses, and other organizations may bring unwanted or unneeded items including clothing, small furniture, children’s toys, books, and shoes. Clothing and textiles do not need to be in good condition. Torn or stained clothing will be accepted.
