Gate closed
in Koke‘e
LIHU‘E — The Miloli‘i Road gate and the Nu‘alolo Trail in Koke‘e State Park will be closed starting Monday night, through Thursday, for a joint law enforcement operation between Kaua‘i Police Department and the state Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement
(DOCARE).
Hunters, hikers and other trail users are asked to make alternate plans.
A KPD spokesperson confirmed the closure on Monday, asking the public to “provide KPD with the time and space it needs to conduct this operation”. The spokesperson could not provide details on the nature of the operation, but did confirm it has nothing to do with a fugitive, missing person or a rescue.
So, green harvest…
C’mon, shouldn’t KPD be looking for the person who murdered a homeless person a few days ago…?
Guess somebody is about to lose a lot of weed.
