The Kansas City Chiefs are going head to head with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami in Super Bowl LIV, and there are plenty of chances to catch all the action around Kauai.
It’s already been a week of events in Miami as fans prepare to watch the two teams battle it out for a Super Bowl victory, with live performances at Florida venues by musicians like The Chainsmokers, Lizzo, DJ Khaled, Maroon 5 and many more.
Sunday, singer Demi Lovato will be performing the National Anthem as part of the pre-game festivities, and Shakira and Jennier Lopez will take the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show.
Tickets to watch the Super Bowl LIV from the stadium started at $4,308, with ticket costs running as high as $385,000, according to StubHub. But, no matter which part of Kauai you’re on, you’ll be close to somewhere that’s airing the big game live on Sunday.
Some restaurants are advertising drink and food specials, and some are just opening their doors for a place to watch the game. Following is a list of some of the places that will be hosting Super Bowl parties:
Sushi Bushido, Kapaa
The eatery will open its doors at 11 a.m. Sunday, and will have an all-you-can-eat pupu buffet from the start to finish of the game.

Rob’s Good Times Grill, Lihue
The restaurant is advertising giveaways and specials for their Super Bowl gathering. To grab a reservation, call 246-0311.
Brick Oven Pizza, Kalaheo
The pizzeria is celebrating the big game by offering beer specials. They have 16-ounce aluminum bottles for $5, $4 pints and $12, pitchers. To make a reservation, call 332-8561.
Big Wave Dave’s, Kapaa
The pub is advertising a chili, rice, drink and food specials. Reservations for the Super Bowl party are filling up fast. For reservations and more information, call 822-3362.
Happy Talk Lounge Restaurant & Bar, Princeville
The eatery at Hanalei Bay Resort will be opening earlier than their regular business hours before the big game. Happy Talk is opening at 1:15 p.m., and they will have an appetizer menu only. For more information, call 826-9700
Kalypso Island Bar & Grill, Hanalei
The eatery is having their normal drink and food menu but will have all of the televisions showcasing the game. For more information, call 826-9700.
Mariachi’s Mexican Cuisine, Lihue and Kapaa
They will have all of their televisions going on during the game, but have no food or drink specials. For more information, call 246-1570 for the Lihue location and 822-1612 for the Kapaa restaurant.
Kauai Island Brewery, Eleele

Brennecke’s Beach Broiler, Poipu
