Angela Lorraine Tavares
Angela Lorraine Tavares, of Kalaheo, passed away on Jan. 5, 2020, at the age of 93 at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home. Born on Sept. 12, 1926, in Eleele, she was a retired housekeeper at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Frances Moura; husband Joseph Tavares, Jr.; son Joseph Sidney Tavares; brother Clarence Moura; grandson Wallace Michael Tavares.
She is survived by her sons, Wallace “Wally” (Dinah) Tavares, Thomas “Tommy” Tavares; brothers, Wallace (Violet) Moura, Albert (Dorothy) Moura; sister Frances Freitas; 2 grandchildren, Warren (Tasha) Tavares, David (Monica) Tavares; 5 great-grandchildren Hunter, Shaelyn, Jadynn, Chole, Cali Tavares, and Jaysha, Jayann Hualama.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kalaheo. Visitation at 8:30 a.m. and Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. There will be a burial to follow at Hanapepe Veterans Center.

Tokiko Doris Nakamura
Tokiko Doris Nakamura died peacefully at Hale Kuike in Honolulu, on Jan. 20, 2020. She was born on April 21, 1921, in Hilo, and was a legal secretary as well as chief clerk of the Fifth Circuit Court in Lihue.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry “Hank” Nakamura; sons Peter and Galen Nakamura.
Survivors include her son Kent (Karen) Nakamura of Bethesda, Maryland; daughter-in-law Nadine Nakamura of Kapaa; grandchildren, Theresa, Casey, Christopher, and Reis Nakamura.
There will be private funeral arrangements to follow at a later date with interment at All Saints Church in Kapaa. No flowers or other gifts please.
Leonora Bolo Alejado Alama
Leonora Bolo Alejado Alama, 85, of Kekaha, passed away at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home, on Jan. 17, 2020. She was born in Makaweli on June 1, 1934, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Preceded in death by her ex-husband and father of her children Victoriano Villatora; second husband Richard K. Alama; son Lee Anson Villatora; grandson Samuel Luczon.
Leonora is survived by her children, Christopher (Diana) Villatora, Geneva Villatora, Leonora (Norman) Luczon, Peter (Jennifer) Villatora, Cecelia (Richard) Gomez, Joseph (Hidemi) Villatora, Robert Villatora, Philip Villatora, Victoria (Nelson) Gabriel, Jon (Theresa) Villatora, Bernadette (Steve) Altizer, Christine (Mark) Aqui; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother Dana Lagmay; sister Georgia Blom (Lagmay); nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m.

Donald Saburo Kagawa
Donald Saburo Kagawa, of Kauai, passed away peacefully on Jan. 10, 2020. Born on Sept. 16, 1943, to the late Ernest Kagawa and Mildred Ferguson, he was a U.S. Army veteran, attorney, carpenter, and teacher.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Russell) Fu, Wailana (Delissa) Dasalia-Duarte, Kanani Kagawa Fu, Kealoha (Ryan) Snow; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many beloved cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lihue with visitation from 8 to 9:30 a.m, Services and Mass to follow. Burial at 12:30 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Wilson C. Dagdag
Wilson C. Dagdag passed away on Jan. 9, 2020m at his home at the age of 57. He was born on Feb. 13, 1962m in the Philippines. He was a restaurant steward.
He was preceded in death by his father Aurelio Dagdag Sr.
He is survived by his wife Avegail L. Dagdag; mother Maria C. Dagdag; brother Aurelio Dagdag Jr. of New Hampshire; sisters, Luz D. Linoz of Kaumakani, Kauai, Virginia Dagdag of Tel Aviv Israel; nephews and nieces, Jema, Clamarie, Jojo, Ashley, Troy, Michelle, Rowena, Jeffrey; grandchilden, Jonalyn, Mathew, Andrew, Rasheed, Tayshuan, Aljur John, Angela Joy, Ligaya, Vojo, Violet, Vicel, Xyrjell, Lebron.
Services will be held on Feb. 8, 2020, at the Holy Cross Church with visitation from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Service to begin at 10 a.m. Family suggests casual attire.

Melchora Cadiz Domingcil, 97, of Lihue, passed away at Garden Isle Health Care, on Jan. 25, 2020. She was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Jan. 6, 1923, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband Emilio Domingcil and 4 siblings.
Melchora is survived by her daughter Carlina (Andy) Acupan; three grandchildren, Donnabel (Jamie Moniz) Acupan, John Acupan, Norman Acupan; one great-grandchild Dante K. Moniz; brothers, Rosalino (Bibiana) Cadiz, Dominador (Maria) Cadiz; sisters, Feliza Tangonan, Evarista Sagisi, Maria (Victor) Acojido, Josefina (Marcelino) Dela Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
