HONOLULU — Starting in February, the state Department of Public Safety is switching platforms for their public alert system, from Nixie Alert System to AlertSense.
To continue receiving alerts from DPS, sign up on the new system at hawaiiPSD.myfreealerts.com.
DPS will not be using their current alert system after Jan. 31.
All residents and business are urged to sign up soon.
