Philippine volcano life-threatening despite `seeming lull’

TAGAYTAY, Philippines — An erupting Philippine volcano remains life-threatening despite weaker emissions and fewer tremors, an official said Friday and advised thousands of displaced villagers not to return to the danger zone.
