HONOLULU — Servco Pacific Inc. raised nearly $400,000 for Aloha United Way during its annual Servco United Campaign through employee e-pledges, fundraisers, and a special program by the Servco Foundation that donated $100 for each team member that pledged.
This initiative was part of the company’s Centennial Service Campaign to invest over $1.5 million into the community.
“In celebration of our 100th anniversary, we continued to encourage our team members to give back throughout the year,” said Servco Chairman and CEO Mark Fukunaga.
“Our theme for this year’s campaign was ‘100 for 100,’ to commemorate both Servco and AUW’s centennial in 2019. AUW is sparking positive change and we want to show our support in building a stronger, safer and healthier community here in Hawaii.”
During the company’s 2019 Servco United Campaign, the company increased participation 65% over last year. Servco donated $316,229.89 raised through employee e-pledges and fundraisers, and the Servco Foundation donated $78,400 as part of its pledge program. Servco’s final campaign total was $394,629.89.
This number includes $8,100 donated to Kauai United Way and $950 donated to Maui United Way raised by Servco team members.
Servco also kicked off its Centennial Service Campaign in early 2019 when it donated $200,000 from the Servco Foundation to help AUW start the Hawaii Social Impact Project, a three-year, statewide initiative to develop a capacity-building training program, addressing root causes of ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households.
Since 1989, Servco has donated more than $5.6 million to Aloha United Way through employee donations, special fundraising events and corporate gifts.
On Kauai, Servco Pacific owns and operates Servco Auto Kauai, offering new and used Toyotas and Subarus, as well as other used vehicles, and servicing.
