Aloha Dance Studio’s dancers charmed their audience on Sunday with new songs and new comedy routines. The theme of the recital was: “We Need A Little Christmas.”
The company girls and others danced the night away with ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip hop, at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Parent Bobbie Balbin was impressed. “The girls have really improved throughout the years,” she said.
Lyrical dance teacher Amanda Tanigawa owned that reindeer costume as the company girls danced with her.
There were parents in the audience, lobby, back stage putting on make-up, and outside helping the show run.
The recital was filled with cheer and the energy of the teachers.
“We just love teaching and sharing our passion of dance to all ages and levels,” said Tiffany Dick, owner and dance teacher.
The next classes begin Jan. 6 for ages 3 years old to adults, beginners to advanced.
