Big mahalo to all with Anahola Christmas party
As president of the Kalalea Anehola Farmer’s Hui, I would like to extend a heartfelt mahalo and aloha to those who worked very hard and contributed their precious time to make our Anahola Community Christmas keiki event a reality. All of us made this successful event possible!
To the KAFarmers Hui Staff: Carol Lovell, our Event Chairperson, directed us to success with precision planning and donated our amazing Christmas tree, Alton Nomura, our Treasurer, helped organize the money and Venue with perfect lighting and the vendor spacing, Kainoa KAF Hui Vice President, provided stage muscle and transport and also set up and Santa Claus’ Chair, Santa was Jolly Hari Kalsa and Head Elf was Sylvia Cole with Crissy Marti, Kim Donohue, Chloe and Cruz Ayonon as Elf Helpers.
Tim Hand for the cute fliers and positive publicity, Lily Eden who volunteered her creative skills for the awesome decorations, Aweepano Satow for her planning advice and moral support, John Kaohilaulii our Konane man and gift donor, Kuuleialoha Punua and Rae Makanani Nam from KKOA who bought and wrapped multiple presents, Keoni, Tim Reese and Director, Megan Fox from Malama Kauai who helped us shop for over 300 gifts and donated decorations and planning time. Nathan Apuna our site Manager and his parking staff Ave, Chelsea and Arian kept the cars flowing, things tidy and vendors organized, Cholena and Chenoa our pretty landscapers and of course all of our most loyal vendors who also donated toys for the Keiki.
A huge Mahalo to the DHHL for our Hawaiian Homeland site and the many monetary and service Donors like Mr. Kurt Last from Aliomanu, Colby and Maja Ayonon from Kauai Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Noalani and Jerry Nakasone, T&R Trophies and Nathan Kalama’s gift donations and jackets, Joe Enrique who let us use his big farm lot for parking,The Kamehameha School’s, Erin and Shane Cobb -Adams for our much needed tent and the donated stage from Punana Leo. A Special Mahalo to the Home Grown entertainers, Michael and Kawehi for their heavenly voices and sound equipment, Tepairu Manea’s Tahitian drumming and the beautiful dancer, Heuru and Keiki, Kumu Hula Pua Gomes and Alaka`i Mauliola Cook and all the spectacular hula Keiki from Kanuikapono school and Halau Papa Laua’e O Makana, Chelsea and her flamming Fire Dancers and of course, the jamming Hawaiian music and vocals of our Northshore kane, Del Seager, Kaimi Hermosura and friends.
