Robert S. Saito Sr.
Robert S. Saito Sr. passed away on Nov. 19, 2019, at the age of 91, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Jan. 21, 1928, on Kauai, he was a sergeant first class in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by parents Kiichi and Hatsue Saito, and brother Herbert Saito Sr.
He is survived by wife Lorraine Saito, sons Robert Saito Jr. and Ronald Saito, daughters Naomi (Roy) Saito and Mariko Ringgold, sisters Jean (James) Sato and Alice Hahn, brother Thomas (Edna) Saito, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The celebration of life is private.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
