LIHUE — The Kauai Island Utility Cooperative nominating committee has selected four candidates for its Board of Directors election on March 14. Three of the nine director positions are up for election annually.
The nominated candidates are Dee Crowell, Jim Mayfield, Steve Parsons and Allan A. Smith.
Members can also run for the cooperative’s board by submitting a completed petition form, which includes the name, service address, phone or account number and signature of at least 35 members by 4 p.m. Jan. 2.
All candidates must complete the application, forms and attend a board orientation on Jan. 3. Info: kiuc.coop.
