LIHUE — A second woman has been arrested for aiding then federal fugitive Orlando Manguchei.
On Tuesday, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Leona Boggs-Kaui for harboring and concealing fugitive Orlando Manguchei, who led police on a seven-day manhunt through the mountains of Kauai.
About 9 p.m. Wednesday, U.S. marshals and Honolulu police located and arrested 41-year-old Boggs-Kaui of Kauai at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport as she was trying to board a flight leaving Oahu, a press release said.
Her criminal history includes arrests and convictions for narcotics, theft of a firearm, criminal contempt of court, and violations of parole and probation.
If convicted, Boggs-Kaui faces up to five years in federal prison. Boggs-Kaui will appear in federal court tomorrow before a U.S. magistrate.
Earlier Wednesday, marshals and police arrested 35-year-old Alicia Kilpatrick of Kauai in connection with aiding Manguchei in order to evade arrest. She was located and arrested at a residence in Kalaheo.
Her criminal history includes arrests and convictions for narcotics, resisting arrest, criminal contempt of court, failure to appear, and violations of parole and probation. If convicted, Kilpatrick faces up to five years in federal prison. Kilpatrick will be transported to Oahu.

I’m tired if people like u who gossip and plant cancer into people’s mind with comments like this I’m married and Orlando was a good friend of me and my husband ok u should get ur facts correct before u post this kind of rubbish for all to read u should be ashamed of yourself
“u should get ur facts correct before u post this kind of rubbish for all to read u should be ashamed of yourself”. – You should have taken your own advice and gotten the facts correct about what the consequences are for harboring a fugitive.
For your information I never even knew he was a fugitive ok and I wasn’t the one with him I don’t even live on Kauai any more the other girl just threw me under the bus for no reason at all. Ok so u should keep ur comments to yourself if u don’t know
No, I think being on the news for harboring & concealing a wanted fugitive is something to be ashamed of.
For the last two comments U should really stop with your comments cause u have no clue who I am and to be honest I didn’t know my friend was a wanted fugitive also this is very embarrassing for me I don’t even live on Kauai anymore, the other just threw me under the bus out of jealousy and instead of taking full responsibility for her involvement goes and tells the marshals all kind of bs so pls stop with all of these unnessary comments also I was never convicted of anything in my life nor have I ever been on parole the media is slandering me. Unless it makes u feel good to believe their untrue stories I would say ur being judge mental and u should get a life
De Nile” is not just a river in Egypt.
Its bad enough to provide food to and go hunting with a fugitive, but to not take culpability for it is why some people have a revolving door into the correctional system.
