LIHUE — Two days after federal fugitive Orlando Manguchei was captured following a week-long manhunt through the Kauai mountains, federal marshals and Kauai police arrested a Kalaheo woman in connection with aiding Manguchei in his attempts to evade authorities.
According to a U.S. Marshals Task Force press release, a federal arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Alicia Kilpatrick, 35, for harboring and concealing Manguchei, and she was arrested at her home Wednesday.
Kilpatrick’s prior criminal history includes arrests and convictions for narcotics, resisting arrest, criminal contempt of court, failure to appear, and violations of parole and probation. If convicted, Kilpatrick faces up to five years in federal prison. Kilpatrick will be transported to Oahu.
Manguchei and Kilpatrick will appear in federal court Wednesday before a U.S. magistrate.
Hey, so what is so criminal about some couple doing “normal” things that couples do to justify sending her off for 5 years in federal prison, when you go much worst criminals that are political members of City and State offices ripping off taxpayers in the $millions of dollars each year?
Feds are going after the “manini” ones and should be knocking on the koa doors of these corrupt officials.
