Gayle Konishi (she’s going to be at the Christmas Craft Fair Nov. 30 at Wilcox School from 8:30 a.m. — go early to beat the lines!) said over the eight years she’s coordinated the fair — rain or shine, the program has generated about $40,000 to benefit the students.
Sherri Sanchez Holcomb of the Kauai Marriott Resort &Beach Club (she was at the YWCA Na Wahine Alaka‘i O Kauai event, Friday night) said they will host a Black Friday craft fair Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, featuring the Guy Higa bento lunches and a lot of local crafters.
And don’t forget the opening reception Friday for the Kauai Society of Artists Small Work Big Show that opens for viewing from Saturday through Jan. 3, 2020 at the KSA gallery at the Kukui Grove Center. The fun starts from 5 to 8 p.m.
